About Magdalena Wilson

I’m a designer in Salt Lake City who loves making things people want to keep around. I spent four years as an industrial designer at Thrasio, where I was the first hire on the product design team and helped it grow to more than ten designers, taking kitchen tools and home goods from the first sketch all the way to the factory. Before that I studied Multi-Disciplinary Design at the University of Utah, including eight days in Yellowstone with park rangers for my senior studio.

Outside of work I love making art of all kinds, whether it’s gig posters for my friends’ bands, chainmail for a costume, or tiny clay figurines to give away. I’m happiest when a project mixes careful problem-solving with a bit of play, and I’d love to hear about what you’re working on.
