Project: a cutaway render with the text: Katchy Duo is an upgraded version of the Katchy V2. Light and liquid bait attract insects to the trap, where a fan draws them down to a removable sticky pad in the base.

Process: user feedback was collected and contributed to the redesign. Sketch sheets and renders of three concepts, with notes: control of the fan and light intensity were added so users can find their preferred balance of effectiveness without interrupting their space with noise or light; the bait attachment more effectively targets fruit flies and was designed to support the device or be able to trap flies on its own.

Execution: a labelled render (bait trap is removable, refillable, and can trap bugs independently; halo sends light in all directions; light and fan intensity are adjustable; removable tray allows for contactless sticky pad disposal) beside lifestyle photos of the trap on a kitchen counter, the bait cap being lifted off, and the tray being removed
